Having already waxed lyrical about her thatched holiday home, we thought it was time to dedicate a post to children’s wear designer Victoria Roper-Curzon’s London Home. With its maximalist decor and fairytale colour scheme, there doesn’t seem to be a corner of the Acton home that doesn’t feature inspiring design. Here is a closer look:

Victoria Roper-Curzon co-founded kids clothing company Elfie London, named after her eldest daughter, in the mid-2010s and has since become something of a instagram icon for all things fantastical and creative. Married to talented pianist Peter Roper-Curzon, Victoria and her husband live together with their six children in a cosy townhouse in Acton, London where the decor and their family life is routinely documented on her instagram account; followed by over thirteen thousand avid readers.
After moving from an equally whimsically-decorated apartment three years ago the, originally two-bedroom, house has developed and extended over the years to the gloriously playful sanctuary that it is today.

Salon-style framing in the living room, a wall of shelves over-flowing with books, crocheted throws and patterned cushions, aztec-print rugs and chintz sofas in the kitchen, exposed shelves and mismatched dining chairs, rustic tiles and handmade bath panels. The house is like a blueprint for imaginative decorating, where no wall is left unadorned and every corner is dedicated to play and comfort – a true home.

Inspired by childrens fairytales and English classics like Nanny McPhee and Mary Poppins, the interiors are a refuge from a creatively sterile and increasingly minimalist world of curated social media shots.
